The Love Apple is a Northern New Mexican restaurant emphasizing local, organic home cooking.

We are housed in what was once known as the Placitas Chapel. This little catholic church was built around the 1800’s and was in operation for 100 years.

We believe in working in conjunction with local growers and artisan producers to create menus which feature our regional bounty and exclusively highlight local food.

We honor quality and the process of creating simple, delicious food.


A Note About Reservations

Even with a reservation, our bustling restaurant may sometimes require a wait for your table, especially if previous guests linger or arrive late. We pride ourselves on our hospitality and strive to seat you promptly, but this isn't always guaranteed. To ensure a seamless evening, please arrive on time, as we hold reservations for 15 minutes. Your patience and understanding during peak hours help us maintain the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere we aim to create for all our guests.

By forgoing transaction fees, we can better support our dedicated employees, offer our predominantly organic menu at fair prices, and boost our local economy by keeping money within our community instead of sending it off to credit card giants. We believe that nurturing local connections strengthens our community far more than aiding large corporations.
